PEEK = 280°C Long Term, 300°C Short Term
PEEK is described as one of the high performance engineering plastics that has many attribute of which high opperating temperatures in one. PEEK is one of the best "off the shelf" plastics currently available and is found inside high quality photo copiers and other high end products requiring a high temperature bearing.

PTFE = 260°C Long Term, 260°C Short Term
PTFE is another plastic with high temperature resistance. PTFE is also commonly known by its trade name of Teflon® and in a modified process is used in coating domestic cookware. PTFE is also known for its very low opperating temperature and used in the lining of cryogenic tanks.
